Late 2019/early 2020 I was given the opportunity to create this illustration for Wizards if the Coast's "Magic The Gathering". It was published in the September 2020 "Zendikar Rising" release and it was created under the excellent art direction of Tom Jenkot. I really enjoyed creating this artwork because I was able to work in my natural style and could employ a somewhat reduced shape language and a colorful palette.
